A-level triumph for Sixth Form students

A-level triumph for Sixth Form students

It's been another triumphant year for our Upper Sixth students who have scored a phenomenal set of A-level results and we are delighted for all of them.

In a fitting climax to an outstanding year, the class of 2016 achieved a staggering 88.1% of grades at A*- B, with 26.6% of all entries being awarded an A*, a statistic which means our students have performed significantly above the national average, which currently stands at 8.1%.

Many of our students have now secured places at some of the country's top universities thanks to these fantastic results.

Headmaster Dr Bernard Trafford was thrilled with the achievements of the 2016 leavers. He commented,

‘I take my hat off to all the students and salute their determination and hard work. Their success was earned and well-deserved and I'm delighted in what every single one has achieved.'
