Cambridge Chemistry Challenge

Cambridge Chemistry Challenge

Students from 435 different schools entered the Cambridge Chemistry Challenge. Such is the challenging nature of the exam that a mark of 20 out of 60 is considered 'a very good achievement', receiving a 'copper' award. Only 48 students out of 4200 (0.8%) received the highest award, 'roentgenium'. RGS Upper Sixth student, Matthew Spry was one of these students and he attended the final presentations at the Royal Society of Chemistry where he gave a presentation. To be in the top 0.8% of such a prestigious National Chemistry competition is a truly remarkable achievement. Congratulations Matthew!
