Emily jumps into top 10

Year 9 student Emily Scott and her horse Winter Flame recently represented RGS at the National Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA) Show Jumping National Championships at Addington Manor, Buckinghamshire.

Being one of 40 riders to qualify across the country, Emily and Winter Flame faced some very stiff competition. Emily actually commented that it was probably stronger than the competition at the British Show Jumping Championships which she has competed at the past two years.

Emily and Winter Flame had a very good round, jumping clean with no faults in a time of 22.87 which gave them a top ten finish, just 1.5 seconds off of the eventual winner.

A huge congratulations to Emily and we look forward to seeing how she and Winter Flame compete across the year.
