James Penn (ON) talks international affairs

At the end of February, we were delighted to welcome James Penn (Old Novo) to give a talk on internationalism and acquiring an international profile in a global economy. We were grateful for him taking time out of a busy schedule in trade policy for the international London Chamber of Commerce. James spoke honestly with huge insight on the personal, linguistic and cultural benefits of working and living abroad, drawing on his own experiences at the UN, in a Chilean law firm, and teaching in Argentina. He talked of the benefit and importance of ‘soft skills’. He also spoke of taking full advantage of international entrepreneurial and business opportunities while an undergraduate. We thank him for his passion and knowledge of international affairs.
