RGS Community Choir after new recruits

Term may have finished and everyone is enjoying the sunshine, but we continue to look ahead to September and preparing for the new school year.

None more so than the RGS Community Choir, who are actively looking for new members, particularly male voices.

One of the last performances by the Choir this summer was a choral celebration of the Queen's 90th birthday, which saw them join forces with St. George's Church Choir to sing Parry's Jerusalem and I was Glad and William's The Old Hundreth Psalm Tune. The RGS Choir then performed Haydn's Te Deum before again joining up with the St George's Choir for the epic grand finale of Land of Hope and Glory with the traditional waving of Union Jack's.

If you are interested in joining the choir please get in touch with Zlatan Fazlic, Head of Performing Arts and Director of Music. Rehearsals begin in September.
