RGS Student wins prestigious languages competition

A number of our Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) students recently entered a national writing competition for languages and we are delighted to hear that one of those students, Aadam Haq has won.

Students were invited to revive the dying art of hand-writing and produce a piece of work on the theme of celebration. Aadam's entry in the Key Stage 4 section (Years 10 and 11) won first prize. It was a beautiful piece in German on the Christmas day football match between German and British soldiers during the war.

It's a great triumph for Aadam and the MFL department.
