With this being labeled 'the biggest game of the season' tensions were running high in anticipation for kick off. The game was set to be a close one with some excellent playing conditions. 

RGS trailed by 7points, 15minutes into the first half. After missing a penalty kick to narrow the gap, S.Perry showed some superb quick feet to score a very impressive run away try, C.Wilson converting. Durham took their opportunity of a penalty within range and kicked the points - 7-10. 

After half time RGS missed a number of attempts at points from penalties, as well a disallowed try, due to a forward pass. This was shortly followed by tries from A.Dickinson and I.Obonna, providing the finishing touches to long periods of hard work from the whole squad. I.Obanna later showing impressive power in the tackle to put himself over the White wash one more time, before getting his hatrick 10minutes later.

Final score: 29-10.
