Remembrance

On Tuesday 11th November, the school held its annual Remembrance Assemblies in both the Junior and Senior Schools. There were readings, thoughtful commentary, histories of some ONs who perished during WWI (researched by students) and wonderful music was provided by the senior choir and concert band. As usual, the wreath was presented by the Head Boy and Girl and laid in front of the war memorial in the Main Hall. This was followed by a minute’s silence, before the Last Post was played. As always, the whole assembly was done very well and students treated the occasion with the appropriate respect which it deserves.
