Saul scores place on national camp

After impressing with the under 14 Independent Schools Football Association (ISFA) squad on their recent tour of Scotland, Year 9 student Saul McQueen, has now been selected to attend the ISFA's national Academy Camp in August as part of the under 15 squad.

Saul will join boys from all over the country at Harrow School as the under 14 to under 18 programmes all congregate for the weekend camp.

Saul's call up to the under 15 squad is off the back of a successful under 14 tour of Scotland where the team took on some of the big hitters in Scottish academy football including Kilmarnock's academy at Rugby Park. This was the last of a number of competitions and ISFA matches that Saul has been involved in over the past six months since making the under 14 long squad.

The ISFA is responsible for developing and promoting football throughout the independent schools' sector and has representative squads for boys and girls from under 14s through to under 18s.

RGS has a long history of boys being selected for ISFA squads with Saul being the latest to represent the school in an ISFA squad.
