Sixth Form Admissions

Applications for September 2026 and 2027 entry are open.

Each year, we welcome up to 50 new students into our Sixth Form. We're looking for academically ambitious individuals who are ready to make the most of the opportunities available at RGS.

Families interested in applying to RGS for 2027 entry and future years are warmly invited to join our upcoming RGS Sixth Form Open Evening on 15th October. This focused and informative evening is designed for families exploring entry to RGS Sixth Form and offers a concise yet meaningful introduction to life at the school.

Applying for RGS Sixth Form

Applicants begin with a baseline aptitude assessment. Those who meet the required standard will be invited to an interview - a formal conversation, but really a chance for us to explore your subject interests, academic strengths and co-curricular passions. We also request a recent school report and reference, including forecast GCSE grades.

Entry Requirements

Each A Level subject has a minimum grade requirement which must be met. These are designed to ensure students are well-prepared for the demands of their chosen courses. Where subject-specific criteria are not met, applicants will be guided towards alternative options for which they are eligible.
