RGS OPEN MORNING
Saturday 14th November 2026
Applying for RGS Sixth Form
Applicants begin with a baseline aptitude assessment. Those who meet the required standard will be invited to an interview - a formal conversation, but really a chance for us to explore your subject interests, academic strengths and co-curricular passions. We also request a recent school report and reference, including forecast GCSE grades.
Entry Requirements
Each A Level subject has a minimum grade requirement which must be met. These are designed to ensure students are well-prepared for the demands of their chosen courses. Where subject-specific criteria are not met, applicants will be guided towards alternative options for which they are eligible.
Financial Support for Sixth Form Students
Financial support is available through our means-tested bursary programme, helping academically able students from a wide range of backgrounds access the opportunities available at RGS Sixth Form.
Students applying for a bursary-funded place for September 2027 entry should submit their bursary application by 23rd November 2026.
Full information about bursaries, eligibility criteria and the application process can be found on our dedicated bursary webpage.
