Wilde's Weekly Wisdom!

Mr Wilde, Head of Computer ScienceWelcome to Wilde's Weekly Wisdom, a new weekly challenge for all RGS families to enjoy, aimed at flexing brains and building our students' computational thinking through logical reasoning puzzles.  The puzzles will be increasingly tough, so families may wish to work collaboratively to crack them.  New types of puzzles (with instruction videos) and challenges will appear each week.

Before families tackle the challenges below, as an introduction here, Mr Wilde explains why logical reasoning matters in computing, and how puzzles can help to build logical reasoning skills.

Please see below for puzzle-specific instructional videos, and the weekly challenge.  Please email us at communications@rgs.newcastle.sch.uk if you manage to crack the puzzles (photographic evidence of your answer will be required)!  Enjoy!
