A 500th Anniversary RGS Garden Party to Remember

THE 2025 RGS GARDEN PARTY WAS A TRULY UNFORGETTABLE EVENING, HELD IN A BEAUTIFULLY ADORNED MARQUEE ON THE SCHOOL FIELD TO MARK OUR QUINCENTENARY.

Our largest Garden Party to date, the occasion brought together a vibrant mix of guests - current and former parents, families of new joiners, Old Novos, and dedicated members of RGS staff - all united in celebration of this extraordinary milestone.

The evening began with welcome drinks on the lawn before guests were seated for a delicious three-course meal, served with warmth and flair. As ever, the festivities continued into the night with lively entertainment provided by none other than Junior School Headteacher and resident DJ, Mr Miller, who kept the dance floor buzzing well into the evening.

A joyful blend of tradition and creativity, guests took part in our much-loved game of Heads and Tails, tried their luck with the ‘treasure tree’ - our whimsical take on a tombola - and joined in the ever-popular Garden Party raffle. Every moment of fun supported a vital cause: the RGS Bursary Campaign, helping to fund life-changing opportunities for talented young people.
