AS YOU MAY KNOW, 2025 MARKS THE 500TH ANNIVERSARY OF RGS NEWCASTLE, A TRULY MOMENTOUS MILESTONE. TO CELEBRATE, WE'RE HOSTING A GRAND CONCERT ON WEDNESDAY, 19TH MARCH, 2025 IN HALL ONE OF THE GLASSHOSUE (FORMERLY THE SAGE GATESHEAD), AND WE WOULD LOVE FOR YOU TO BE PART OF IT!

This special event will feature a performance by our community choir, and a powerful, massed musical piece performed by 500 musicians. We’re inviting all alumni, friends, and family to join us in making this celebration unforgettable. More information is available in this video.

Here’s How You Can Be Involved: We’re primarily looking for enthusiastic singers to join the choir. No need to be an expert - reading sheet music isn’t essential, as we’ll provide guide tracks and other resources to support everyone. We're also hoping to bring in community musicians with rarer instruments to strengthen our Symphony Orchestra.
