The Royal Grammar School (RGS), Newcastle has been named The Sunday Times North East Independent School of the Decade by Parent Power, The Sunday Times Schools Guide.
This week, RGS Newcastle students are being encouraged to use their voices to discuss the important issues that are affecting their generation as they take part in the Youth Parliament’s Make Your Mark campaign.
A student from RGS Newcastle was the youngest person named in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list announced at the weekend for the contributions he made to the community during the height of the Coronavirus pandemic.
ON and successful medic, Keir Shiels (93-00) has recently been appointed as a consultant Paediatrician at Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital.
Four members of the Class of 2013 will join their friend and former classmate, Tom Clark, (03-13) to run a half marathon on Sunday 13th September 2020, in memory of Tom’s father.
