Old Novocastrians

Our students' involvement in school certainly doesn't end when they leave the gates of Eskdale Terrace; indeed, our network of almost 10,000 alumni remain at the heart of this community. There are countless ways to remain engaged, from enjoying the Old Novocastrians' Association Magazine, signing up to an event (including regular year group reunions) or contributing insight and advice to current students.  Perhaps most importantly, those who have benefitted from being part of our community share a sense of responsibility for giving back. Our RGS Gives campaign offers anyone and everyone a way to support our school, city and broader region.

Old Novo Midwinter Memories

In December 2022, we asked the ON community to send us their 'Midwinter Memories' of the RGS. We hoped that those memories would provoke the nostalgia and love of the school which was also encapsulated in our Christmas card. As a result of the 'Midwinter Memories' campaign, we raised further funds for the Bursary Campaign through generous donations by ONs. We'd like to say: thank you. Please enjoy a selection of these moving, funny, colourful snapshots below.

Classes of 1993 & 2003 Reunions

We were delighted to be able to welcome back Old Novos from the Class of 1993 and Class of 2003 at our Annual Summer Garden Party in July 2023, and raise a glass to those who were unable to attend.  It was a wonderful occasion, with many fond stories being shared and relationships re-established.  The dedicated reunion webpage is here (password required).
